Is Lawn Wrangler licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a licensed Home Improvement Contractor in the state of Maryland and carry all necessary licenses required by the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) to provide turf an plant care services. We carry both General Liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance, so you can feel completely confident working with us.

Does Lawn Wrangler install hardscapes?
YES! We design and build outdoor spaces for our clients, incorporating a mix of softscape and hardscape material into our designs. Patios & walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, driveways and permeable pavements are just some of the things we can help you with.

Yes. Satisfaction is guaranteed! We fully stand behind our work and believe you should be happy when we are finished. Our guarantee is simple, “we’re not done until you’re happy.”
We use industry best practices, use quality materials, and don’t cut corners. When we build something it is designed to last for many years to come. We offer a 5-year warranty on our hardscapes and a lifetime warranty on our plant material when they are under our care.

Does Lawn Wrangler charge for landscape designs?
All successful projects start with a great plan, that meets the clients needs and is within their budget. We start the design process by assessing the site and helping our client determine a budget. We can provide everything from a simple rendering to a complete master plan to build the landscape of your dreams. The cost for design depends upon the scope and size of the project.
When is the best time to plant?
With proper care, planting can be done almost any time of year. Early spring and early fall provide advantages for optimal success with less effort. Cool weather reduces stress on newly planted plants, while soil stays warm enough to allow the roots to grow.
Should I aerate my lawn?
Core aeration remove plugs of soil from the turf, creating a system of large pores by which moisture and plant nutrients can be taken into the soil. Mechanical aeration alleviates soil compaction in established turf, encourages root growth by increasing oxygen to roots, and allows seed, lime and fertilizer to more readily enter into the soil.
When is the best time for over-seeding and turf renovation?
Maryland is home to mainly tall fescue lawns, which prefer and thrive in cool-season weather. Late summer through early fall provide the best opportunity for overseeding and major turf repair. Warm soil and moderate air temperatures encourage new seed germination with less competition from weeds.
